Frequently asked questions

Do I need a subscription?
Yes. PrviTV is a player, not content. You need an existing subscription with a provider (Xtream Codes or M3U URL).
How much does it cost?
A one-time purchase on Google Play — lifetime, with no yearly subscription and no hidden fees. The current price is shown in Google Play at the time of purchase.
What does "lifetime" mean?
You pay once and use the app with no yearly subscription, for as long as it stays available and works on your device. "Lifetime" means no recurring charges — it is not a promise that the app will stay in the store or receive updates forever. If Google ever removes the app from the store, a copy already installed keeps working; you just won't get new updates or re-downloads through Google Play.
Can I use it on multiple devices?
Yes. Your purchase is tied to your Google account, so you can install and use the player on your own devices — no extra licenses.
What if it doesn't work with my provider?
Purchases go through Google Play, so Google's refund policy applies — an automatic refund within 48 hours of purchase. Google handles all billing and refunds.
Is it legal?
Yes. PrviTV is a generic player — like VLC. We don't provide or host any content. It is solely your responsibility to ensure the content you access is lawful and that you have the necessary rights to it.
What can I use PrviTV for?
PrviTV is a general-purpose media player for the M3U / HLS / Xtream protocols — like VLC. Besides the provider subscription you already have, people use it for free-to-air channels and public playlists, their own media server (a Jellyfin/Emby/Plex M3U export), IP/CCTV camera feeds, internet radio, educational or event streams, their own published videos, and public-domain archives. The player is only the pipe — what you play through it, and whether it's lawful, is your responsibility.
What about 5.1 audio and 4K?
Android and web — yes, through native decoders. Windows version is currently stereo (HTML5 limitation). Plan: libmpv embed for true 5.1 later.
When is the iOS version coming?
Web app is available at the same time as this launch — works in any browser. iOS comes after Android validation.
